 Today for play make create we had a story called Theadore the unsure I made a decision wheel to tell you what to do. I worked next to Isaac and Kian. first I got a box, cut it in half, and glued it together. after that, I got a box and cut some long rectangles out to make a bit the wheel would hang off. I got a stick and broke it in half. I taped  it on, made the wheel, and then taped the wheel onto the stick and then I had a decision wheel

 last week we had a kite day. I made my kite by myself and made it out of coat hangers and  a bag. First I got two coat hangers then cut the hanger off of one and tap ed them together. I put my kite on top of the bag and traced it with a pencil. I cut that out with fabric scissors and put it around the kite. After that, I got some help and put the string into it. When the string was in I got the hanger I cut off and used that as the handle. After that, my kite was finished but didn't fly and I couldn't fix it. 

 Today we read a story called, be you and that was the story we did play make create on. I did make something you love, so I made a Kendama and sat next to Isaac but we didn't work together. The ball sometimes breaks but it is easy to fix and the string is quite strong. I would've made the ball out of a stronger material so I wouldn't break as easy.      

  Term 2, Week 1 2021 During Term 1 we have been practising our addition and subtraction knowledge through the online programme called NumBots.  At the start, it was super easy but progressively got more challenging. I am now on the tungsten level of NumBots.   I enjoy NumBots because it helps me learn What I find challenging is adding ten then subtracting one This week we have started TTRockstars.  This is an online programme which helps us to learn our timetables. First, we had to complete 10 Studio games which were really hard because they had basic facts right up to 12 x 12. Now that the hard part is over we can play in the Garage and start learning our tables I think that TTRockstars will get easy if I practise

 today we did play make create off of a story called up the creake Isaac and I made a steamboat for the moose bear and beaver to go in the water with  first, we cut some cardboard to make the bottom then got some more to make the ends and then we were going to add the floor the glue our driver place on and after that put a tube on with some pompoms to make it a steam bot

  Whetu Fun Day Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed.  Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead!  We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block. My favourite part of the Amazing Race was running around Ngatea, finding eggs and decoding   them into a joke The rotation I enjoyed the most was drawing my easter bunny and colouring it in with the pastels During the Easter Egg Hunt I found my stick in the little sandpit in the corner of the feild
